Mike Schnur recently completed his 18th season as head coach at Penn of both the men’s and women’s swimming programs but has been involved with Penn swimming for over 25 years. Schnur has coached nine athletes to 21 Ivy League Champion titles and has had more than 150 school records broken during his tenure. He has also coached 10 Olympic Trial qualifiers and 2016 NCAA Champion (1,650 Free) Chris Swanson.
Laura McGlaughlin recently completed her first year as an assistant at Penn in 2018-19.
McGlaughlin came to Penn from Georgetown University, where she spent three years as an assistant coach. A West Chester native, McGlaughlin was a four-year letter winner and BIG EAST Championships competitor during her swimming career at Villanova.
Kaitlyn Ferguson joined the Quakers in August 2018 and just completed her first season as an assistant coach. Prior to joining Penn, she worked as an assistant at Marshall University in 2017-18 and before that she spent three seasons as an assistant coach for her alma mater, Penn State. A native of Mamaroneck, N.Y., she was a two-time US Olympic Trials qualifier, and Big 10 Champion
